8. Financial Tools
The Financial Tools section holds the schedules and calculators that support your reports and forecasts. These appear in the sidebar under Financial Tools when the CEO Dashboard module is active.
Available to 👁️ Members (view) and 👤 Admins (create/edit).
8.1 Loan Schedules
Track term loans and their amortization.
- List URL:
/a/<team-slug>/qbo/schedules/loans/ -
Add a loan with its principal, rate, term, and start date; OML builds the full amortization schedule (
/qbo/schedules/loans/add/). -
View a loan's schedule, edit its terms, or delete it.
- Bulk import — download the template (
/qbo/schedules/loans/template/), fill it in, and upload (/qbo/schedules/loans/upload/) to load several loans at once.
Loan principal and interest feed cash-flow and forecasting so projections reflect real debt service.
8.2 Credit Cards & Lines of Credit
Track revolving debt separately from term loans.
- List URL:
/a/<team-slug>/qbo/schedules/credit-facilities/ -
Add a credit card or line of credit and OML tracks the balance owed (
/qbo/schedules/credit-facilities/add/). -
Refresh from QuickBooks to pull the current balance, including all sub-accounts that roll up under the facility, so the total reflects the full balance owed.
-
View, edit, or delete individual facilities.
Good to know: OML correctly rolls up child and grandchild sub-accounts into the parent facility's balance, so a card with several sub-accounts shows one accurate total rather than double-counting.
8.3 Depreciation Schedules
Track fixed assets and their depreciation.
- List URL:
/a/<team-slug>/qbo/schedules/depreciation/ -
Add an asset with its cost, in-service date, and method; OML computes an IRS-compliant depreciation schedule (
/qbo/schedules/depreciation/add/). -
View, edit, or delete assets.
-
Bulk import via the template (
/qbo/schedules/depreciation/template/) and upload (/qbo/schedules/depreciation/upload/). -
A live calculate preview shows the schedule as you enter values.
Depreciation flows into EBITDA add-backs and cash-flow add-backs so those figures are accurate.
8.4 Loan Calculator
A standalone "what-if" calculator for evaluating financing before you commit.
- List URL:
/a/<team-slug>/qbo/loan-calculator/ -
Create a scenario, enter terms, and OML computes the payment and total cost (
/qbo/loan-calculator/create/). -
Save scenarios to compare options; edit or delete them later.
Unlike Loan Schedules (which track loans you actually hold), the Loan Calculator is for exploring hypothetical loans.
